ICAN attended the Washington Commanders Preseason Game on Friday, August 14, 2026. This special community experience created an opportunity for connection, excitement, and shared memories.

On October 4, 2026, iCAN helped create a memorable family experience at M&T Bank Stadium as the Baltimore Ravens faced the Tennessee Titans. Thanks to four complimentary tickets generously provided by Tickets for Kids Charities, along with parking expenses covered by iCAN, a family had the opportunity to enjoy an exciting day of football, laughter, and quality time together.

A heartfelt thank-you to Tickets for Kids Charities for helping make this special experience possible. At iCAN, we believe meaningful community connections grow when everyone has the opportunity to participate, feel a sense of belonging, and create lasting memories together.

Because sometimes, making a difference begins with something as simple as bringing people together.

An Inclusive Spa Day Built on Dignity, Joy, and Connection

ICAN partnered with Ida B. Wells Middle School to host an empowering Spa Day experience for adult women within the disability community. Middle-school volunteers and cosmetology students in Dr. Nila Austin’s #4 the culture curriculum provided professional manicures, acrylic nail services, French braids, hair washing, custom roller sets, fresh fruit, and refreshments.

This intergenerational collaboration delivered dignified self-care while helping youth build leadership, hospitality skills, empathy, and a lasting commitment to community service.

  • Participant dignity: Every guest received attentive, validating, and compassionate care.

  • Stakeholder validation: Caregivers and staff praised the students’ professionalism and the event’s execution.

  • Institutional partnership: The event created a strong foundation for future school and community service projects.
